A distinctive Ann Demeulemeester wrap coat made from a mohair-wool blend, featuring an open-back construction and  asymmetric silhouette. The dramatic bell sleeves are immediately reminiscent of Demeulemeester’s signature design language.

The coat is constructed from two contrasting layers: an underlying black linen and rayon-blend layer and an outer red mohair-blend layer. Together, the two fabrics create a unique tweed-like woven effect, while the mohair gives the surface its intentionally fuzzy, textured appearance.

The texture is an inherent part of the design and should not be considered an imperfection. As collectors of Ann Demeulemeester will appreciate, the designer is known for embracing irregularities, raw finishes, unexpected constructions, and unconventional approaches to fabric and form.
